How do you define yourself?  Not with titles but who you are at your core.  What do you believe and what is that important? Self-definition, your values, and resilience all correlate and work in tandem.

I am smart, I am funny, I am honest, I am caring, I am courageous, I am adventurous, I am resilient.

These are some of the virtues that are important to me.  These are the words I say to myself when self-doubt and limiting beliefs creep into my head.  My self-definition keeps me in a positive mindset which enables me to do more, be more, and have more of what I want. I’m not talking about material things but yes, even those sometimes.

You may have noticed that the phrase I am is at the beginning of each of those very powerful statements.  With self-definition, you can trust that your core values are truly yours and not someone else’s.  Additionally, when you know your core values your purpose becomes clear.   Download the I AM worksheet, write down your statements and keep them close.
