The other morning, I woke up with a 16-count musical phrase. I was pretty sure the word “nothing” was the first word, and that’s all I could come up with. I forgot about it and then later in the day as I was settling down for the evening, I heard it again.
Furthermore, I love music and love to sing. It’s not uncommon, I’ve got songs in my head. However, when I haven’t just heard a song on the radio or recently walked out of a store that was playing music AND it is first thing in the morning, it’s often a message from my intuition.
Intuition is sometimes known as psychic abilities, 6th sense, or inner knowing. In essence, you know something that’s not necessarily apparent in the physical world. Have you ever had a “gut feeling?” That’s it.
Accessing Your Intuition
Did you know there are 8 ways to access your intuition? These are sometimes referred to as the “Clairs.”
- CLAIRCOGNIZANCE – Knowledge
- CLAIRVOYANCE – Vision
- CLAIRAUDIENCE – Audio or Hearing
- CLAIRSENTIENCE – Knowing by Feeling
- CLAIRSALIENCE – Smell
- CLAIRTANGENCY – Knowing by Touching
- CLAIRGUSTANCE – Taste
- CLAIREMPATHY – Feeling of emotion
We all have access to these, some more than others. I don’t recall any experiences with Clairsalience or Clairgustance; the rest are familiar to varying degrees.
How about you?
Look at all these ways to connect to your inner wisdom! They are here to lead you back home to your true Self and counterbalance the disempowering external messaging, noise, and toxicity. Add the brains located in your head, heart, and gut to your “clairs” along with all the intelligence in your approximately 40 trillion cells and you can fully claim your brilliance!
You are indeed more powerful than you “think.”
So, what was that song in my head? I asked my husband, a music aficionado, to help. I hummed the 16-count phrase and sure enough, he knew what it was…
“Across the Universe” by The Beatles
The phrase I heard was, “Nothing’s gonna change my world, nothing’s gonna change my world…”
My interpretation of this inner wisdom:
No matter what is happening in my external world, I choose what happens in the energetic world, my kinesphere, my 3D bubble, and my vibe.
Like in the movie Dirty Dancing, “This is my dance space, this is your dance space.”
What do I fill my world with? As much vitality, goodness, and light as possible!
Without bypassing the times when I don’t feel as light. Stomping, cringing, crying, and more all get to belong. This goes for you too 😉
This intuitive musical nudge brought another layer of guidance in the phrase, “Jai guru deva.” One translation of this is: “Glory to the shining remover of darkness.”
Huh. We could certainly use more light to remove the darkness.
If inspired, listen to “Across the Universe.” Thank you Beatles. Thank you intuition.
May you cultivate glorious ways to stand your ground, claim your space, and choose what – and who – resides within your world. With love. With kindness.
